As a reader of Rooted Thinking, we wanted to give you a special update. We began Rooted Thinking with the intention of providing high-quality biblical content. We want our readers to know that when they click a link to our pages, they can be confident it is worthy of their time and solidly biblical. We hope that the last 5 months have strengthened your trust.
On the other hand, Rooted Thinking is not the only or even the main ministry we are each involved in. Our team is comprised of one senior pastor, one youth pastor, and a missionary. Adjunct and guest writers are all likewise busy with ministry responsibilities. Summer brings special responsibility to each of us, from mission trips and evangelistic outreaches to camp ministry. It’s hard to maintain the level of quality we want to offer while also faithfully fulfilling our primary ministries.
That explains why you’ve seen fewer posts recently. This isn’t a waning commitment to Rooted—just a recognition of reality in our annual schedules. The good news is that busy season is now over. You’ll be seeing new articles this week and we are polishing up others right behind them. We especially look forward to sharing a series from Layton Talbert on forgiveness. Greg Baker has written on managing stress, and Joel Arnold on how we think about work.
Meanwhile, we are also using this as an opportunity to explore several avenues for making our communication more convenient and helpful for you. We have some exciting things planned and look forward to sharing those with you as time goes on. Stay tuned!
Thank you so much for your interest and support in what we’re seeking to do. Please let us know if there is anything we can do that would be a help in your own walk with the Lord.
